About Me

About Me I graduated from BYU with a BA in English in 1998. I taught Secondary English after my graduation for 3 years, and then quit working to be a full time mom. I write stories for my kids in my spare time, often weaving tales on the fly for a wide eyed toddler, or livening up a true account of my childhood adventures on the farm for a group of nieces and nephews. As a teacher, writing was a huge part of my class work, so rarely a day went by that I wasn’t going through a stack of essays or short stories written by my students. Since then, I have done editing and proofreading quite often for people I know; papers for English classes, resumes, presentations, copy for websites, newspaper  and telephone directory ads, stories, novels, letters, and business proposals. I enjoy working with words and helping people become better writers.
